Camp Conecuh is our work in progress. A 100 year old home surrounded by the Conecuh National Forest. Whether you are on your way to Destin, need to get out of Destin, looking to enjoy nature or just looking for peace and quite, Camp Conecuh is the perfect place.
Zero highway noise, no loud neighbors, no traffic. Peaceful, quite, private and secluded. Nature out of your front door.

Nestled in the heart of the Conecuh National Forest, Camp Conecuh is our private retreat that we are sharing with friends and family. It's not 100% but it will probably never be. It's our 100 year old farm house work in progress.
Relax, sleep late, drink coffee on the porch swing, have a drink by the fire, go for a hike, go hunting, go fishing, swim in a creek, search for a hidden cold spring, go to a shooting range, rent a boat on a 184 acre lake, ride dirt bikes, visit Boggs and Boulders, have a picnic on a spring fed lake, cook a big breakfast, enjoy a ribeye steak at Big Mike's Steakhouse, drive for miles down dirt roads. So much to do, or do nothing at all!
Comforts of home
Although still a work in progress, Camp Conecuh is clean and has a decent size kitchen, large living room and Wifi. 2 BR, 2BA, with extra twin in a soon to be bunk room and Wifi. 30 amp RV hookup.
Relax
Relaxing is mandatory. Sit be the fire, snuggle on the couch to Netflix , swing on the porch swing, or just kick back in a tree!
The Property
Kayak, Fish or watch the sun set over our three acre lake. 20 acres to explore, but most is off limits during hunting season.
Nature
Look for deer, turkey, red cockaded woodpecker, pitcher plants, otters and beavers. Watch a foggy morning sunrise in the woods or a beautiful sunset over the lake.
Good Food
Big breakfast, cookouts with friends, steak dinners, or a picnic, good food is a requirement!
Fish
Catch and release in our own three acre lake or visit the Brooks Hines state lake just 15 miles away.
Hunt
The 84,000 acre Conecuh National forest is literally right out the front door. Miles of dirt roads with great hunting opportunities.
Shoot
While we do not allow shooting of guns on the property, the Conecuh National Forest gun range is twelve miles away.
Hike
Take a quite walk down a dirt road, explore many of the small trails closed to vehicles or hike up to 20 miles on the Conecuh Trail. Or get creative and have a treasure hunt!
Swim
So many possibilities. Blue Springs lake, Blackwater river, Conecuh river, Sepulga River, Blue Springs and countless creeks nearby.
Ride
Miles and miles of dirt roads where you will probably not see another vehicle. Boggs and Boulders adventure park is only 22 miles away.
Explore
Visit Big Mikes steak house in Andalusia, go to the Conecuh Sausage plant in Evergreen, Go to the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo, visit the many farms in the area that have blueberries, strawberries, etc.
